Your Hosts, Paul and Sally Shipley returned to the Bryherstones after a break of around 14 years in 2009.
The pub and restaurant were previously run by Paul and his parents, Brian and Mavis Shipley, from 1983 and were joined in 1986 by Sally, Paul's wife.
Working together until Mavis and Brian's retirement in 1995, the family built a reputation second to none in the local area for good food, drink and a warm welcome.
Paul and Sally returned in 2009 and restored the pub to its former glory, re-instating many of the old features and changing the style to a food-driven pub.
Paul and Sally would like to extend a warm welcome to friends old and new, be it for a drink in the cosy bar or a home cooked meal - you are assured of an experience you will want to repeat.
